I love the American made part and I hope the trend continues, but honestly, why did they feel the need to make it gaudy looking with the stars all over it? Is it too complicated to make a clean looking - cork handled rod with just a few decals on it? Yeah stick a big ol' made in USA, sticker on it; but the rest of it is why I won't buy one.

I think it looks sharp. Just too rich for my blood.

It looks like the stars are on the flyer. Not the rod.

AKA: North Fork Composites.

Honestly $199.00 isn't to bad for an American made rod these days.
North Fork Composites has nothing to do with G Loomis except being founded by Gary Loomis. G Loomis is owned by Shimano and makes their rods in Washington, while Gary Loomis owns NFC which sells some finished rods and provides blanks to a few manufacturers including Kistler. NFC makes their blanks here in the USA also, but has no dealings with G Loomis.

Oh, I did not know that, i thought that all of the G.Loomis (None TFO) were North Fork Composite blanks. Good info, thank you for the clarity!

I guess Trump has been working on this for awhile then, never knew he was such an avid stick.

Looks like they are on the grips, might just be a photoshop though. I'll look at them in person when our BP gets some in stock. I own several of the Johnny Morris rods and they work pretty nice.
