Why do pro anglers constantly say "we" as in "we are fishing a jig"? Why don't they just say "I am fishing a jig"?Buddy, there is only one person in your boat that is fishing!

We pros have to include our sponsors in all we do; they make our profession and our lifestyle accessible to us.

I have never seen "we" in your boat.

LOL Razor you sound just like me. Nothing big bothers me just little things like that. Stupid signs bother me too, like a sign at the local pharmacy, partly reads, "Locally Run", like we weren't sure it was being run from the next town over. Oh well don't get me started on signs. When the phrase "We" is used in my church as in "We need to do something about.." Most often "they" are referring to something I will end up taking responsibility for. I suspect the "we" you are referring to concerning fishermen it is an attempt to defer responsibility when the jig doesn't catch fish..
