Anyone have any luck. Threw the whole tacklebox. 7 hours. One bump. Fished every level. Various structures. Just curious if we are this terrible?

Same here. Fished half the day with one hit and no catches.

I am sure someone caught them good! Regardless of conditions someone will have them figured out. There were also a lot of boats on the water for a Thursday. I guess people stopped hunting.

My buddy and I were mainly out there last Thurs. to see how some extensive motor repairs on my '98 Merc. EFI were going to do. They did OK and of course we had to throw something. We only used 2 lures and in about 2 1/2 hours on the lake, from noon to 2:30, I caught one about 3# off a Johnson Branch secondary point on a square bill sexy shad deep diving crank bait in 10' of water and shortly after that my buddy caught one about the same size off a north side main lake point in about 5' of water on a 1/4 oz. blue over silver rattle trap. It was chilly and breezy but I'll take a good working motor and a couple of fish for our short time out there.

Where is Delvec? Homie's been looking for a JOB, but last 2 trips have been tough. Course the 20-25 winds haven't helped.

The dogs and I fished last Thursday from 10am till dark. I caught 16 fish, big one was a 5.5 lb chunker the rest all solid fish from 2-3.5 lbs. they were not wanting anything that had worked the last 2 weeks, took a little while to figure it out but then it was on. Of my last 3 trips to ray bob I've only had 1 bad one where we only caught 2 fish... been catching them pretty good for 3 weeks.

Great, I feel like I have Lewisville down well enough to catch fish.
But Roberts is my nemesis in tough conditions. Just haven't put as much time in.

I've been twice so far in January. All the fish I caught were in less than three feet of water. Exactly what I did not expect.

Is it an afternoon bite? Makes sense that it would be in winter and the reason why I am struggling the last couple of times. I am fishing the first three quarters of the day.
