Recently got my LiftSaver mounted on the Tracker PT190 w/ Xi5. Super clean install and looks great. More importantly it works great. Never had any problems hitting the Xi5 on the bow roller. The reason I got it was to tuck the TM out of the way while at the dock. Wakeboard boats can really screw some stuff when your boat is docked. The Xi5 plastic parts aren't cheap so I figured the cost of the bracket is a lot less expensive than a crashed TM.
Ron (Blue Nitro) did a meticulous job w/ the install. It was a joint effort and with two perfectionist working together, it was interesting but fun. (He probably wanted to knock me out at times) =)
All that said, I'm extremely pleased w/ my LiftSaver. It's super rugged and looks really clean on the black Tracker. Thank Ron and I appreciate the help and patience...

Ron is good people however he will push you out of the boat at times.......Be careful The LiftSaver Trolling Motor Mounting Bracket serves many purposes other than saving the trolling motor from hitting the bow roller when launching or loading the boat and as you mentioned while at the dock. It also serves as a much better foot print for mounting as there is on average only 7" of mounting platform on the electric steer trolling motors. Last but not least, if you have a custom cover the LiftSaver Trolling Motor Mounting Bracket allows you to bring the motor in allowing the cover to still fit the boat. LiftSaver....."soon to be a household name"

Thank you for the kind words. That was one of the cleanest installs I have ever helped with because we put all eight of the mounting bolts under the bottom rails so you cannot see them. We learned a lot - like how to get residual glue off when we pulled the previous pad and then don't try to put mounting holes in the front rail because it is a hollow tube and you can't get to the bolts to get a nut on them. What we did do was tapped the holes on the boat and the LiftSaver which came out clean and solid. It was all good and I sure enjoyed the time on the water at Grapevine testing out the install. We will have to do it again soon (fishing - not the install because I'm still a little sore).

Here is another LiftSaver that was installed on Sunday up in Oklahoma. He sent me these picture to post because he is not on the TFF. He did a great job and it came out very nice and extremely clean. He said the test trip went great and he is very happy with the LiftSaver. He did say the next trip that he forgot to retract the tm and it hit the bow roller so he was glad he installed it.

It also serves as a much better foot print for mounting as there is on average only 7" of mounting platform on the electric steer trolling motors. Here is a picture of a Xi5 that was mounted without the LiftSaver. I would be worried about the lack of support and all the stress being put on the fiberglass in such a small surface area.

It also works with the Minn Kota Terrova, Ulterra and Riptide. You simply remove the back brace and the unit lays completely flat in the retracted position. It also gives you a full 6 3/4" of retraction which is more than the MK-47. Check out my website for more information or to order yours today. www.LiftSavertmmount.com

I mentioned to Ron when I got ready to mount my LiftSaver, I made a template that was the exact length and width of the base out of cardboard. I taped it on my bow where the new base needed to be mounted. I took an ice pick and gently poked until I found the existing holes, then taped the cardboard to the new base and marked it. Drilled my new holes and was able to attach the base to my existing anchors on the bow. Great product that worked great on my test run.

Last Friday, had David with some assistance from Ron mount an ulterra in place of a riptide. I don't think I need it to avoid the bow roller but was most interested in the larger footprint in contact wit h the boat. Was never real comfortable with the riptide mounted directly to the boat deck. In fact, it looks like the white boat above was the mount on my boat. Anxious to get it out on the lake and give it a try.
