Just wanted to take a second and introduce my new 5" weedless swimbait that is now available at Oak Ridge Marina and Lake Fork Tackle in the Lake Fork area and Anglers Pro Tackle and Fun N Sun in the DFW area. I initially ordered the mold for myself and had no intentions of putting this one in my rotation. I wanted a weedless swimbait I could fish a little faster without it rolling. I wanted a slimmer profile bait that still could be swam slow if need be as well. I wanted a smaller swimbait to cast and skip up under docks, around cover, and in open water and I wanted it to be versatile enough to be fished shallow or deep depending on weight.

After pouring a few I was really happy with the mold . The bait has some killer tail thump at speed but you still get that good S type action along the tail. I gave a few away to friends etc. and they were such a hit that I literally cannot pour them fast enough right now to keep up. Since they can be fished a bit faster and since they are 5" long the Quick5 just kinda fit. Also figured the bait can help you get 5 fish in the box pretty fast. So I kinda ran with it as the name for the time being.

The Quick5 can be fished with a belly weighted swimbait hook or a jighead. The belly has a built in hook slot. I would reccomend at least a 4/0 EWG hook preferably a 5/0. The unweighted bait weighs 1/2oz prior to rigging so choose the weighted hook based on the depth you want to throw it in. It can also be Texas rigged with a bullet weight or thrown on umbrella rig. It will be a kil.er bed fishing bait too as you can noseweight it to get it down on the bed and still have the undulating tail action even at rest. I use a blend of plastic that gives the bait good action and also has good durability. You should be able to catch multiple fish on a single bait.

Each bait is handpoured one at a time in custom aluminum molds. The eyes are glued on then dipped in clear plastic to help secure them. That also gives the head more durability. The head is solid plastic so it accepts screw lock hooks just fine. The Quick5 is an extremely versatile small swimbait that should catch fish anywhere.

I included a few pictures of some recent patterns. The pictures are not the best but I wanted to show the different patterns. Most are triple color pours but again the pictures do not show the details. I try to keep the patterns simple but I want the sheen and glimmer that actual baitfish have. These patterns really pop in the water and sunlight. They are very natural looking. Right now available patterns are:

Sexy Shad
Sexy Orange Shad
Tilapia
Green Gizzard Shad
Gizzard Shad
Natural Shad
Threadfin Shad
Blue Back Herring
MP Shad

More patterns will be added including some gill patterns for the spawn. Also am working on a 7" version of same bait. All stores listed above will have a decent supply but they have went fast so far. I am trying to keep up as I can. Also I appreciate everyone that has supported my efforts through words and by supporting the stores that carry them. I have no intentions of ever being anything but a small time garage bait guy so its cool to see the support. I still have a lot to learn and its been a fun ride so far. Thanks and please feel free to ask any questions.

The pictures of the Quick5 don't do it justice. Need a couple from above to see the thickness of it.

REALLY looking forward to wetting a few of these things because the profile and overall size is perfect for a variety of applications.

Great looking baits Mark!

The 3 stores that carry them should be stocked up again. Got everyone restocked as they keep selling pretty fast. Thanks to everyone for giving them a try.

Hey Mark , anyway to order direct from you? I don't go to any of the stores you mentioned very often.
