I know they have lowered LBJ 4', and will keep it there until February 13. Does anyone know how long it'll take to get it back up to normal level? I was just curious how fast the lake would rise.

Depends on the rains. They have to keep normal flow going down the river from the dam, that slows up the refill process with out rain. They will also be cutting some water loose for the rice farmers when they need it. That's still a little ways away.

From what I've read, it will be back up to normal in 2-3 weeks. I hope so, I really enjoy Lake LBJ. I think the contract to send water downstream has gone away with the construction of the reservoir down there. Our lakes have remained full for a long time.
