That's a tough one. My daughter tried it for a while. Really limited to what you can eat.

It's what I need to do to stop eating all the bad stuff I currently am. I'm one of those all or nothing type of guy. Too easy to go thru a drive thru and order a cheese burger and of course get the meal with fries cause it's cheaper. hammer

Vegan, hmm, good luck, we're pulling for you. So much for owning leather. That will be hard for you Mr. Bassfever to throw all of it away, jackets, shoes, belts, etc., but with luck, your car seats aren't leather, but if so, maybe you can get a good trade-in.

My sister was a vegetarian for about 7ish years or so. She puffed up pretty good from what I'd assume all the bread and pasta, I'd avoid that.

Going vegan doesn't mean going PETA.

Vegan means making use of "nothing" that has to do with animals, not even butter. I believe vegans abhor leather products.

If I am wrong, I'll be corrected.

I'm pretty sure he is only talking about going veggy with his diet. Look around where you are. This is a fishing forum and our sister site is a hunting forum. I don't think someone trying to live the way you are talking about would be spending time on our forums.

I'm not vegan, I'm going big burger tonight!

I was just asking, because vegan is more hardcore than vegetarian.

+1

Nice to know we have one level head on here. That can think outside the box.

I met a pescatarian on a flight one time. The guy didn't know much about fishing, but it was the only meat he ate.

I am level-headed dudes. I was just asking a question regarding what it takes to call yourself a vegan.

vegan
ˈvēɡən/
noun
1.
a person who does not eat or use animal products.
"I'm a strict vegan"
adjective
1.
using or containing no animal products:
"a vegan diet"

at least he did not call himself a vegetarian like many do. last i checked, fish was meat like you said.

My sis was a vegan and got sick and anemic. now she eats fish 2-3 times a week and is better. a very hard diet to keep up with and get proper nutrients.

I would take a b-complex, fish oil (i know it comes from meat but where will you get DHA and EPA?) and D3. i bet there are more you just cannot get from a vegan diet.

or "go all in" on a pescatarian diet?
