Following the heavy rains this past week, and the anticipate storms Saturday night, I headed back out to the small pond to throw out a few fly's and catch me some fish. The weather was perfect, before the rain and winds hit us Saturday night. Armed with just a few of my homemade flies, I fished the one spot that has been productive and landed several bream and several small bass. My flies were a success! I don't know about y'all, but I find it rather satisfying to catch a fish on a lure I made. Walked the mile long trail back to the house after an fishing for about 2 hours. I knew the fishing Sunday would be gone with the expected winds, and they were certainly brutal. Eventually, I'll head back to the lake a fish the creeks. For now, I'm content walking and enjoying the local scenery and the willing bream/bass willing to hit my fly's.
