Hello all,
New to the fishing side of this forum.
Just wanted to let all know that were wondering the bite is slow and the white bass aren't thick up in white rock yet.
This indecisive weather hasn't warmed the water up yet. 57 in the creek.

Three years ago the fish piled up in a spot in December. 90% of them were 8-9 inches. Some 10-12's. We even saw a school of 100 thread fin move up a rapid into the pool they were in. They started boiling like on the main lake. Epic.
Problem with spot, some bad people found out about it and kept everything from 2 inches and up. Every rain a new batch would move in and within a couple days, they got wiped out. Like completely gone. Not even a minnow in the pool. Game warden just couldn't get them. They had scouts and would run off before the GW could get them after parking his truck. Anyways, they took a couple 1000 fish. This all was before the spawn. Then last year we had a major rain which I bet a lot went down the Spillway.
The last ten years has been going down hill.
Last year I never saw them way up stream. I remember watching them boil everyday main lake.
I'm not hearing about any in the cast netters catch either.
Crappie population is down as well. People population is way way up.

Makes a lot of sense, thanks for the report TaronFly.

I wish there are more people with authority to stop these illegal activities. most of these things happens in the night where no see to report this. why there is no routine check.
