I wish I could commit to something like this. I would love to meet some fellow TFF members. I bet it would be fun. Y'all enjoy, maybe next year my back will be up to it.

If these were set up with working man tournament hours I'd be all in.

That is what I was thinking like Wed/Thur 4pm-6pm to 8pm-10pm. Then when it got down to "play offs" in the fall maybe 6 hours on Sat or Sundays. If the team members a particular week had the schedules they could even possibly fish a weekday match during the day. Keep it really informal and fun.

Perhaps the teams that are competing could pick the day and time they wanted to fish and even then agree on a lake.

Maybe figure out how many teams you have and all pick like 3 lakes per team, then the lakes are a blind draw out of a hat shortly before each match. Just more of an impromptu thing to make it more of a challenge.

I never fished them before, but it could be a blast, IMO.

I was trying to clean up some old file folders last night and ran across all this TFF Matchplay stuff that I had saved, all members & phone numbers, standings sheet, rules, etc....if anyone decides to pursue this, I can scan it and email to you so you'll have a good idea on format. Remember a Team Goon Squad? That's the only one that hasn't been mentioned.

I had a team back then and it was very difficult getting teams scheduled... That was the biggest challenge and not an easy one to over come.
