Looking for people in the college station area who like to kayak fish. Brand new to kayaks and still pretty new to bass fishing, but would like to get to know more people who enjoy it. Already met a couple of guys, but anyone else around? I'm a student so my free time goes from nothing to do to busy and back a lot. Always up for fishing when I can.

A bunch of kayakers meet at the Nails Creek Park on weekends (Upper end of Lake Sommerville) and kayak up the Nails and Yegua creeks for blackbass, crappie and white bass this time of year taking advantage of the spawn. Great fishing, and you should have plenty of company up in the creeks and at the boat launch. Check out the videos on this topic "another good day up the creek!"
