Asking him how he got there and how he plans to leave is out of line too. Frankly neither is any of their business.

Mr. Williams communicated extremely well given his situation.

He handled himself VERY well. Hopefully the powers that be saw the video and had a chat with those involved. Not a good look for that PD.

think from briefly watching channel 7 news he was around a backyard fence of an elderly guy in some woods "taking a walk". The guy called the cops and reported a suspicious person, who wouldnt have done that or worse?
Unless theres details that I dont know, I would have probably held him there with one means or another until the cops came if I saw someone that wasnt suppose to be around my backyard fence.

Im 6-1 and 311 last i weighed (prob lost some since the wife has been sick though) but I highly doubt I would have had hand to hand combat with the guy but I bet I could carry the means to hold him there until the cops came. We real friendly down in east texas but i wouldnt go "walking" around peoples property lines unannounced looking like you might be up to something cause some people might get a little concerned and upset. I'd think that was just common sense anywhere.

Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

At least we now know the real purpose of the original post. The original post stated the ignorance of the cops. No agenda, just observing what I saw in the video. Born in 1964 in Longview, Texas and raised in East Texas. And the only thing that has changed since I left in 1982 is the year model of the cars. I'm as white as you but you have to see why there's a problem. If you can't see the problem, then there's the problem. Experience things outside of East Texas. I lived in Dallas for 35 year before I retired a few years ago. I saw the problems there, that's why I moved. Every area has their issues, you just have to adapt. Experiencing things outside of East Texas has never been a problem for me.

It's always funny when some 6ft+ 300+ pounder thinks he can so easily take down someone smaller. Yeah there are exceptions, and a few may actually be a bad ***. Most cases I've found is they're slower, and get winded a lot faster. My BIL who fits that description thought the same thing once. He never tried coming after my 5-10 185 *** a second time. And I'm just an average guy. I highly doubt that someone that large could so easily handle a former NFL running back. Not without a firearm. That's the only equalizer you got. In a regular old fight. There are no breaks to catch your breath.

Ricky Williams? Is he that pothead that chose weed over a football career? No wonder he is in East Texas. Yep, that's the one genius. The guy that had an 11 year NFL RB Career. The avg NFL RB career is 3.3 years. Plus, Ricky stuck around for his Sr year in Austin, so he was older than most entering the league. If you can watch that video and say something about those officers, and those officers only, isn't messed up then you have an agenda and zero objectivity. Am I crazy or at the beginning of the video doesn't one of the cops say that looks like Ricky Williams? How the h*** can you work in Tyler, live in and around Tyler, and not know who Earl Campbell/the sausage guy is, but recognize Ricky Williams at 20 yards in a split second?
