We usually make our annual trip to Fork in mid-March. This year it will be mid-April. Is there a good top water bite in mid-April?

They're catching them on top waters now. The only difference there will be about 10 million more boats in April. But if you've been coming in mid-March you already knew that. Bass will still be spawning then so they should still be shallow. Good luck.

My last trip to Fork was in April with a guide. We fished shallow and caught a few.
