So this seems like another opportunity to ask what is the closest thing to a none inflatable PFD as to size, comfortable and mobility?
Thanks!

I posted this a few days ago and the post was taken down. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong so I don't make the same mistake again? Probably because it's been posted about 15 times since it happened? Moving forward I will search topics before posting a make sure I post something that hasn't been covered before, like which type of worm color works best. Wait....

Thanks! I may sound like a wuss....but, I prefer a regular old life jacket style pfd just for the added padding incase of something like this. I use a HIT style inflatable a lot as well....depending on the weather. If I have to use a heaving jacket or rain gear, I tend to use the inflatable. On warmer, nicer days, I use the vest style. I use the best style on nicer days since there is usually more boater traffic and rougher water.

I use the best style on nicer days since there is usually more boater traffic and rougher water. Makes sense, I have an inflatable that I wear when in my kayak, but I have a "fishing" vest too. The fishing vest has a pad right in the small of my back and makes for the most uncomfortable sitting position, probly cause I have fishermans hunch back...
