I will be in port aransas in early April for a bachelor party and I am trying to find info on a guided trip in that area for reds, trout etc.. If anyone has any info on a good guide for this it would be appreciated. And also how many fish would you be expected to catch that time of year?

If reds and trout is your desire crystal blue charters is great. When choosing a guide there are lots of good one and lots of not so good ones. I have been a guide for years and have seen it all. Best advice I can give you make sure they have a facebook page with recent trips. They will show if they have a history of success on the water or not. Alot of guides get a couple of good pics with lots of fish and a fancey websites but there avg day on the water isnt much to brag about. Just take your time when choosing a guide. Now if you decide you want to go flounder gigging I am your guy my boat dont come in till we have our limits. www.nocturnalassault.com you can see recent reports on the facebook page.
