Headed down to Port A with family and friends to relax and of course FISH! I normally take the kayaks out and fish the Shamrock area by launching at Wilson's cut. But I won't have the kayaks this weekend and a group wants to wade fish. Any recommendations on areas to wade fish in the surrounding area that are accessible by car? Through my research I have seen the Brown & Root area mentioned but didn't know much about it. Anything will help thanks! oh and we don't have a 4x4 vehicle

For anyone's info... we went to Stedman Reef behind Fin and Feather bait shop. We walked SW along the reef fishing deeper holes and grass. We only caught 4 keeper trout but looked like a great area. Great if you are looking to wade fish and you don't have boat or kayak.
