What time of day do they actually release trout, morning, lunch, evening or just when they feel like it?

Whenever they feel like it, but usually mid morning. Depends on how long the line is that morning for taquitos at Race Trac

Stocking day tomorrow in katy.

Ain't seen any, but if there's any Katy peeps that are fishing MJP Park, are ya'll having any luck.
So far all I have talked to haven't done worth a damn, including myself.

Fun time limiting out on trout at Waterloo Park Pond in Denison. Dry Flies were the key this round with the Griffith�s Gnat in size 16 being the �go to� fishing fly. But, as luck would have it, ran out of them. Did manage to get the trout to bite on other dry flies despite losing my mojo at one point! Post.

Must have been fun on a dry fly fshng84. Maybe I should give it a try when I see them surfacing next time. Need practice anyway.

Thanks Hobie_Splash! It was fun as well as frustrating... missed strikes; my game was off at one point. Did not help running out of the one fishing fly that was getting consistent hook ups. Do give it a try!

On the stocking day what time of day do they usually stock?

How long after the stocking can you catch these trout. I know they'll eventually get caught and kept or die off. Should I target areas that have been stocked in the last few days, last few weeks, within the past month?
