Thought ya'll may find this interesting. On the shore of a pond adjacent to Lake Fork we found these largemouth bass like this. The bigger one struggled to cannibalize the smaller one. This has to be good luck for 2017 right? Hope so!

Looks like human intervention to me especially since the larger one looks like he had a knife put to him.

Back in the late 60, me and dad came upon two fish of identical size that were like this. They were struggling on top of the water, both around 2 pounds and we were fishing a tournament. It took a couple minutes to separate them and they both swam away just fine.

Rare sight. I have seen it only once myself.

I have only seen it once myself and it was on Fork in 1998. Hauling butt across the lake and I noticed something to my right didn't look right and turned around. The bigger fish must have been 12 pounds plus and had a fish half it's size swallowed just as in the above photo. Neither fish survived.

WoW!! saw almost the same thing Sat but it was a bass that couldn't get a tilapia down. I managed to get it unstuck and after putting her in the livewell for about 20 mins with recirc running and adding "catch and release" stuff she was able to swim off! 6lbs 11oz!!

Cat fishing granger dam at midnight, strong wind and large perch for bait,I had problems keeping lines taught. After setting the hook on nothing a few times,I just worked to keep lines somewhat tight. After a couple hours I decided to give up and reeled in all the slack poles to find a 6 1/4lb black bass that tried to eat an 8" white bass that ate the big perch on my hook. She was tired from trying to either finish swallowing the white bass or spit it out but the hook had her. About drowned herself. I tried to get her upright but no fight left in her. Kept washing ashore by the waves. Trust me at 4am the last thing I wanted to do was clean 1 fish. No pictures but it happened.
