Spend more time on the motor than anything else. I have a Skeeter personally and it performs just fine. I would pick the one with the biggest deck and storage set up to my liking.

Get a Ranger. I think the resale holds up the best when you are ready to upgrade. MO

I would probably buy a Cat personally, but out of those 3 more than likely you'd get a lot newer used boat going with a Nitro

Number one is take your time , the boat your looking for will turn up. When it does get the motor checked out before you pay for it,,,,, DO NOT SKIP THIS ,,,,,,,It will be money well spent. Next take the boat to a lake and test it , most people trying to sell a used boat will offer to, if they don't ask. I have owned Skeeter and Ranger boats from 1993 to present you can't go wrong with these boats they both are fine boats. If you don't like the color don't buy it because it won't get better you will never like it . Once you buy your boat if your not use to running high performance bass boats ask a friend that has ran this type of boat to go spend a few hours on the water with you. This will be time well spent you will learn more about your boat in a lot shorter time. Post a picture on here when you buy one. Good luck.

Let's go fishing

Ranger for sure. But it does no good to have a nice boat if the motor breaks down constantly. Get the motor checked and test drive the boat before purchasing. See if there are maintenance records. Check all electronics, lights, bilge pumps, trolling motor, batteries, wires, latches etc. Also pay close attention to the trailer and ask if maintenance has been performed on brakes, lights etc. if applicable. Get underneath the boat and check for any issues with the fiberglass.

You'll get the best bang for your dollar with a nitro, including upgrades. Now if you plan on selling it a few years down the road, then skeeter and ranger hold their value more then a Nitro. Just my opinion.

My thinking exactly, except the 1st buyer already ate the "Nitro name depreciation", so you can get a lot more boat for the same money as the other 2 brands. Then if you sell it down the road, someone else took the big hickey before you owned it.
