Thanks Gitter,Kodys'papa,Twisterdmidnite,and dmunsie for the replies. Rainbow Trout are hard to beat! Gitter: I have never tried using a smoker. I do not have one and it's easier to just fry,grill,or broil them.

Thanks Gitter,Kodys'papa,Twisterdmidnite,and dmunsie for the replies. Rainbow Trout are hard to beat! Gitter: I have never tried using a smoker. I do not have one and it's easier to just fry,grill,or broil them. That is how I prepare all of my trout either fry,broil,or grill! I heard that grilling them with liquid/smoke sauce works well!

Thanks Pot licker for the reply.  That cake was very GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. Curtis: Never tried the liquid smoke sauce ! I have heard from people that have used it on meats and most have said they did not like it.
