I have been raked across the coals many times on TFF and I do realize that a lot of times I could really use a good shrink. But I am getting on up in age and a lot of times just really don't care but here goes.
Is there even one other person now that Josh Hamilton has signed a minor league deal with the Rangers who would give anything to see him report to spring training in absolutely great shape in body and attitude and end of making the team as part time DH maybe learn a little first base and put up 30 homer 80 RBI numbers for the Rangers next year. I about gagged at one time when I heard his name but have always remembered how when he was at his best and was a major superstar in MLB and how he pretty much put the Rangers on the map nationally with his home run derby performance and his play to help get the Rangers to the World Series.
Go ahead, tell me I am out of my mind.

He was sitting two rows behind me at my daughters cheer comp in November. His daughter was competing too. He was very nice and talked with me and a couple other dads. He told us he'd be back.

I'd like to see it too, but with his druggy past, his 35 year old body probably has a real age of 40-42. Too injury prone..

He has signed a minor league contract and they will decide what kind of shape he is in, and how much he can contribute when they get to spring training. it would be great if he can make any kind of a comeback for the small amout the Rangers are paying him. The Angels are out $26+ million for this year. Thank you LA!
Josh had a fantastic amount of talent and showed it a few times, but generally his demons got the best of him. If he can come back anywhere near close to what he had once before it would be a huge plus for Texas.
