You must mean a pass rusher! We don't appear to have one.

I think the players care a lot less about what's said publicly than we do. I have no doubt that Jason gave Dak props in the exit interview and no doubt that the Cowboys are going to try to move Romo this offeseason. Revealing their plans for next season has no positive benefits, so they don't say anything for now.

If I was Dak, I might be just a bit put off by the front office refusal to name him as the stating QB going forward. I'm sure there are conversations going on internally that the public and media are not privy to yet but I think its about time go give Dak some finality in the matter and the public accolades he deserves. Maybe its just me but end the controversy already. I don't think its a good idea to continue to keep the man dangling on a string like the organization has done all season. Quote [This is going to be a long, arduous offseason in Dallas thanks mostly to their impending decisions at quarterback. On Monday, head coach Jason Garrett wanted to keep those discussions at arm's length for at least a little while. He was asked if Dak Prescott was definitively the team's starting quarterback in 2017. "Don't want to get into those discussions," he said, via The Dallas Morning News.]Quote http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...tarting-qb-talk He only started every game this year. What the hell more of a message do you need than that?

This will play out like Peyton and the Colts a few years ago, Everyone knows they really need to release him. No takers and he picks his team in the off season. Unless someone is in need for a 37 yo injury prone (as of late) QB.

Romo has played 5 games in 2 years and has only started all 16 games in four of his nine seasons in the NFL. That ain't good. Just how much value do you think he has and you know Jerrah is going to send him to team that is a good fit for him which limits his options even more.

I am sure Jerrah will include Tony in all if any trade discussions.

I hope they can get something for him. And I hope Tony does well. However, smart money says he won't ever play a full season again. he's just too fragile.

Make no mistake about it, Tony still feels like he can play and play at an elite level, I would not bet against him, he already has proved pretty much everybody wrong to begin with, undrafted, po dunk college, no arm, etc, he probably owns every quarterback record for the Cowboys except the rings.

He could look a safety off like no other..... That'll probably be lost on most.

Tony needs to retire while he can still walk and play catch with his kids. I get being a driven competitor with a matching ego. But is the long-shot possibility of taking a team to an elusive Super Bowl berth worth the risk of more injuries that have long-term implications on Tony's quality of life for the next 50 years?
