You must mean a pass rusher! We don't appear to have one.

I think the players care a lot less about what's said publicly than we do. I have no doubt that Jason gave Dak props in the exit interview and no doubt that the Cowboys are going to try to move Romo this offeseason. Revealing their plans for next season has no positive benefits, so they don't say anything for now.

On Monday, head coach Jason Garrett wanted to keep those discussions at arm's length for at least a little while. He was asked if Dak Prescott was definitively the team's starting quarterback in 2017.

He only started every game this year. What the hell more of a message do you need than that?

This will play out like Peyton and the Colts a few years ago, Everyone knows they really need to release him. No takers and he picks his team in the off season. Unless someone is in need for a 37 yo injury prone (as of late) QB.

That's what I think will happen.

Romo has played 5 games in 2 years and has only started all 16 games in four of his nine seasons in the NFL. That ain't good.

Just how much value do you think he has and you know Jerrah is going to send him to team that is a good fit for him which limits his options even more.

And that is only if there is a taker. I am sure Jerrah will include Tony in all if any trade discussions.

I hope they can get something for him. And I hope Tony does well. However, smart money says he won't ever play a full season again. he's just too fragile.

Make no mistake about it, Tony still feels like he can play and play at an elite level, I would not bet against him, he already has proved pretty much everybody wrong to begin with, undrafted, po dunk college, no arm, etc, he probably owns every quarterback record for the Cowboys except the rings.

Tony needs to retire while he can still walk and play catch with his kids. I get being a driven competitor with a matching ego. But is the long-shot possibility of taking a team to an elusive Super Bowl berth worth the risk of more injuries that have long-term implications on Tony's quality of life for the next 50 years?

A very lucky throw and catch ruined it for Danny White, he was a very good quarterback.
