I fish Bardwell almost exclusively, and Crappie Magnet was the ticket in 2015. That played out at the end of 2015 and I had to try different stuff. The bait I ended up using was Crazy Anglers Craw'lr in Rage N Cajun. That color was best all of 2016 and has been good so far this year. I'll admit that once I find a color that works I stick with it.

Mikes custom baits - makes big bait that I like to use 2.5" & 3.5" and will make any color you want( he's usually very backed up on orders) Bonehead - stump bug has been a absoloute killer for me . constant pursuit- most durable bait you will ever find, thump chubbie is excellent for dock shooting. Thermocline lures- tadpoles are great, pearl ice and black emerald shiner are a must have.
These are what work for me in no particular order. That black emerald shiner is a winner in any configuration that Mrs Tbox offers. My second choice is the GoTo Greenie, I have some other favorite colors. 80 percent of my time on the water, I fish with Therrmocline offerings, so I am biased, I suppose. That said, I like that strumpbug that Josh offers, although I just starting using it. The pink color is working for me, right now. The BG shadpole works at times better than anything else when the crappie have been heavily hammered by other baits. I always carry Constant Pursuit products. My favorites are Fishing Farmer, High Noon and the white/green color. I have caught many fish with the offerings above...in fact, when I walk into a tackle store, i can seldom find anything that interests me on their shelves because of the aforementioned manufacturers. Hope this information helps...

Yeah. I suppose I am going to have to give some of my stuff away that I have now. I bought a bunch of junk before looking into other options. The RonRig jig heads I have I like way more than what I currently have. The Bobby garlands I have work, time will tell with the lures I'm getting. I hope to leave them bass alone long enough to do some testing, but it's hard being the spawn is at my door steps.

Great learning video The above will teach you what plastic works. I have bought from every seller on here for the last 5 years countless jigs. Close to $1000 worth. Including e-bay. I have to say this year so far after watching the guys above videos, he has 3 of them. I am finally starting to catch crappie. The black/chartreuse and the green/chartreuse tubes are the ticket for me. They are working great in the lakes west of Ft Worth. I did catch some using copper/mine color from TBox, but not like I have with the above simple tube jigs. The video is 20 mins and well worth it, his other two are well worth it also. I put them on dvd so i can watch them any time I want. Hope you enjoy them.
