I had the pleasure of taking Badlander from here on the forum and his brother in law out for a day of crappie fishing on Lewisville. The fishing had been really good and steady lately. Today Lewisville decided to serve up some nice big slices of humble pie to us and many other angler we saw out today. Still found the crappie in some spots but they just never would turn on today. Cleaned a little mess of keeper crappie and another nice ditch pickle today. They were nice guys to spend the day with and I'll get Badlander a big mess of crappie eventually. I still have some weekday spots open this month and some weekends in February.

Yeah definitely good times bro. Had a good time lots of laughter. I always learn something every time I go out.
We found them just couldn't make the bigguns bite.
