Is it just me or does everything taste the same at those places from all the sauce and what not they cover it with when they're cooking? Vegetables, whatever meat, there's different textures, but it all has the same taste. We've got 2 here in WF, wife loves it, but I rate it pretty meh. Fun atmosphere though.

I tend to concur. My wife thinks the kids will be entertained. I'll probably slam so much saki that it won't matter anyway.

If you are talking about the places they cook on flat grill and you sit around it that's called teppanyaki.
Hibachi is actually a small ceramic bowl like container that would hold that Japanese charcoal that burns super hot white and has almost zero ash, then has a small grill over it that meat normally on a skewer is cooked on. But like many things Americans use an easier wird to say and run with it.

For example there is no Spanish (Mexican) word taquito, but Americans decided it was easier to say than flautas.

Alright, this I guess based on Bob. I am concerned about his feelings on joe ts, braums, bean soup, I believe he has publicly hated on babes chicken too. We shall see Bob.

and for the record, I don't hate babes, i'm just not moved by it.

Still great and still my favorite. Tried many others recently and I still prefer the Palace.

A flauta is made with a flour tortilla. A taquito is made with a corn tortilla.

Idgara about any of this. I want to go to a place that the japanese guy chops some stuff in front of me, throws it in the air, some flames etc. I dont care the proper term for it.
