Ha ha not in Alaska ! It's with in 25miles from Dfw area. Yesterday morning fished for a while, too windy and very slow only able ketch two keepers. Caught few under size crappies and sandies as well.

When it rains this weekend and we get some water in the creeks,
fishing will go up dramatically

Too much rain good for the fish; not for the fishermen. Most of the lakes are almost full, a couple of good inches of rain may flood in the creeks like last year. Hope this year good fishing.

Couldn't be more true. Rain is good to a certain point and this weekends event is past that point. Hopefully the lakes only go up a foot or 2 and not any more.

All caught on crappie tubes under a float 3-4' deep
Around two o clock rain started and then no bites

Fished this morning for couple of hours and caught huge sandies six of them and lost couple of them near banks while landing.they were bitting on Micro spin.
