Never had a graph up front that had maps/chart plotter.....how do y'all use it and what are some of the benefits y'all see in spending a little more for it.

As always, thanks for the input/feedback.

I have one up front to mark waypoints and show proximity to them as well.

Helps when trying to hold yourself on a break line or trying to troll down one. Also nice to share waypoints from console graph to fish them more easily.

I use mine a lot. HDS8, use it to stay on way points or the cursor for boat position. But that's for mainly offshore type stuff. Plus it's great to follow a previous track.

I have a HDS-8 up front, most of the time it's used to stay on a w/p or to follow some kind of change in bottom contours .. I like having it,but sometimes I wonder if that much money could have went towards something else.. Lol

I have a Humminbird Helix 12 up front linked via Ethernet to another Helix at the dash, it is useful for when I mark a waypoint at one or the other it saves it to the other unit at well. I typically use my bow graph on a split screen with my Navionics mapping and 2d sonar, it does have side and down scan, that I do use on occasion or at certain situations but 90% of the time it is mapping and 2d sonar.

Great for following creek channels and of course offshore fishing and waypoints.

Currently running a Touch up front connected to console Touch unit. So at night I can tell where I am at say in relation to points, humps, and underwater Bridges. Difficult for me to Fish my style w/o a chart/deep finder up front. Also I can set unit at console to read what the front transducer is reading so Angler behind me see the fresh readings on the boat moving forward.

In order to catch Big Fish..Sometimes you gotta Suffer.

I have an older HB DI unit up front, but it's better than nothing. I'd feel blind without a graph up front too. I'd like to save up and get one that links to my console graph as well to share waypoints. I'd reccomend at the very least a small bow graph.

A front depth finder is very important unless you just run the bank fishing blind.

I fished without a bow graph when I first got my boat, quickly realized I needed one...just knowing the water depth; was a great bonus for me
