I just purchased this 1999 Skeeter ZX 176C and I have it at the shop now adding my electronics from my previous boat plus an recessed foot pedal tray. The tech called and is a little unsure about cutting into the deck to do so and I have to go look at it and sign off on allowing him to.

Is there any issues with adding the tray to this model and if so can I get some advise before I install?

Call Skeeter and ask them.

My old Skeeter has a cover plate on the bow originally intended to the mounting hole for a flasher. If you have anything like that just remove it and you can reach in to see and measure clearances.
