Is this ramp open and usable? Our club is having a tournament there in a couple of weeks and I want to make sure it is good to use .

What club are you in?

That park is permanently closed.

The best ramp, and most safe place to keep your truck is Chandler's Marina. Harborview Marina, is ok. And the only public ramp worth a darn is HWY 66 ramp.

I would definitely 2nd the recommendation for Chandlers. Best ramp to have a tourny from.

This is for Crandall bass club. Is the ramp where the old riverboat closed that's the one I'm thinking of ?

Terry Rd. boat ramp is great and is public. Double lane boat ramp with courtesy dock. Can't remember how many parking spots, probably at least a dozen. You can google and probably tell from map. Fairly easy to get to from Hwy. 80 and/or I30 and there is a restroom and picnic tables.

Ray Hubbard does not have any bass. I would try a different lake. Seriously, I thought the east side of Robertson was still open. I use it occasionally when fishing with someone that can back and park my truck. The Rockwall ramp off 66 is free and decent if you are fishing the north end. Heath ramp is good for south end but a little out of the way.

Terry Lane is good and not usually crowded. It's exposed to a west or southwest wind, but has good docks, good parking, good ramps, and cost $20 apiece less than Chandlers. $20 to launch at Chandlers is highway robbery. I'll never go there again.

As a club you may be able to negotiate a lower price to ramp there, call or have a representative go by and ask. It is the best place to launch by location and protection from the wind.

Chandlers definitely isn't cheap..., 15.00 Monday thru Thursday & 20.00 Friday thru Sunday.. I launch there though, because its worth the piece of mind that my vehicle is safer there.

Terry Rd. ramp is completely FREE, no charge, 0, nada. Public park, very well maintained and safe. I use it all the time.

Chandlers will lower its price for a club hosting a tournament. They did for mine about 2 months ago.
