There was a small tournament there this past Sunday and it took around 9 pounds or so to win. A 7 pounder and a small fish. Haven't heard much good about Ivie the past few months.

Too much new growth right now, Can't get to the bank on most of the lake, due to the yards and yards of salt cedar growth. Not to mention the ton of shad in the new growth.

Swim jig in the cedars and then drop out to the points and drag a rig for a chance at bigger fish. If you can find them grouped up deep, don't forget about the jigging spoon and the flutter spoon.
