every rod that I use mono on...love the bulk spools so I can keep the line fresh...keep 25, 20, 15, 12, 10, 8 lb in the boat - both clear and green...also carry braid and floro too...

KC - what determines your choice of clear vs green.
Always been curious on the impact of line choice vs bite

On every reel I don't have braid on. Tougher than Chinese Arithmetic!

i still use it. Mostly 20lb for leader lines, 3 way rigs and trolling set ups that i may run. Ive used it for years. Its some tough stuff and has never really failed me. That said, its pretty thick stuff. Kinda like running a fence line. lol

Use it for my topwater rods and as backing on all my other reels.

15lb green on topwater, backing for braid and flouro, leader for c-rig. I think that's about it. But I keep a bulk spool handy at all times. Coach

I use 20lb for some topwater and c-rig leader. Also use 25lb for my A-rig. It still does the trick
