Beginning Monday Jan. 16, 2017, Lake Dunlap’s level will be lowered approximately 18 to 24 inches below normal so that Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) hydroelectric maintenance personnel can make repairs to the downstream and side seals of a spill gate. The needed repairs were identified during the most recent inspection. These repairs originally were to take place on Nov. 29, 2016, but were postponed due to weather conditions.
GBRA officials anticipate these scheduled operations may take at least 2 weeks to complete. Operations also may be adjusted or canceled in the event of adverse weather conditions. GBRA will post updates to its social media sites, “GBRA of Texas” on Facebook and “@GBRATX” on Twitter, #HydroLakes.
GBRA officials advise anyone using Lake Dunlap for recreational purposes during this time to exercise caution. Lower lake levels may expose debris and other potential hazards that normally are underwater.

Snowflakes and entitled brats will be the doom of America!

Thanks for the update!
