Didn't make it last weekend but new years weekend went out Friday and Saturday.
Besides catching two guys that caught their boat on fire we caught 8 Friday and 10 Saturday.
Few on rattle trap, rest on a t-rig.

Guys I'm fairly new to NTX and I've never fished Eagle Mountain... I live 20 min away so I need to get out there. Are there several ramps and where's the best place to put in if you're coming from west of Justin off 287. Don't want to hijack the post but it sounds like you guys probably know.
Thanks!

From you I would use lake view ramp off of Peden road.
Take 287 towards avaondale, take 287 business up to peden road. Make a right on peden. Follow peden to boat club road. Mike a right on boat club road then get ready and make a left on peden. It dead ends at the ramp

Depending on where you want to fish there is Twin Point ramp south end of the lake, Harbor One south end and then Lake View north end. This is all on the east side don't know the west side ramps. Problem is each of them is $20 Fri-Sun and $10 Mon-Thur.

There are plenty of free ramps to use. Especially with the lake full

Pelican is only free if you're a resident. Got a ticket there.
There's a free ramp just outside of briar on the west side off liberty school road Free ramp at very far north where river comes in at wise county (eagle mountain) park. Before 500 people chime in and say "wise co park is in Bridgeport" yes I know there's also a small wise county park outside of Newark
None are the safest if you're keeping Valuables in your vehicle. I leave mine unlocked with nothing in it

Shady grove is the only free ramp, Pelican bay is residents only
