For the most part every one of these guys have dealt with spectator traffic before, it's not their first rodeo. Some deal with it in very good ways and others will lose more fans due to the way they act. Ike for instance, if spectators get too close he will raise a big stink. He lets small stuff get in his head and psychs himself out. KVD will also yell at the crowds but he does it with a little more tact than do others. I am speaking only of the spectator traffic, the pleasure boaters are different animals. Huge wakes are what many of these boats were designed for, so it does not bother them. These folks have no idea nor do most care that their big wakes annoy the fisherman to the extreme, myself included. If law enforcement will get out on these lakes and uphold the laws as they should, you will see less and less of the BS. I highly expect that during the classic days LEs will be there in force simply due to this being the highly publicized classic. I however will not be on the lake out of respect for the competitors. I don't want to add to their frustrations. I will be in Houston though!!
