1996 Bumble Bee 18’ 8” single console with a 1999 Mercury 175 EFI,
Motor Guide Digital Tour 24 V 82 #, Lowrance Elite 7 HDI on the bow and a Elite 7 Chirp on the console. 5 blade prop. Manual anchoring system with mounts on the rear and front on the trolling motor and one 8’ stick. Hotfoot.
Wide rear deck and lot’s of compartment space. Large built in cooler/trash compartment. 3 bank 10 amp charger.Jack plate All pumps work.
The boat runs great, fishes great and basically looks like s….it. So if you come home from fishing and think you have to spend the next two hours polishing your baby this is not your boat. We bought it with a poor gell coat and so we just don’t worry about it. Doesn’t effect the fishing at all. I've seen far worse.
When running thru heavy timber you get scrapes and scratches. At Lake Fork that is where a lot of the fish live and if you want to catch them that is where you have to go.
And when you get back to the ramp just run the boat up on the trailer and your partner can then just pull it out. You don’t have to go up and hook up the winch strap. Runs 55 WOT on GPS with a full load and 2 anglers. Live wells work just fine.
Downs: Tires are 2 years old. Trolling batteries are almost 2 years old. Even though we replaced the steering cables it is still pretty tough. Like I said it ain’t pretty but it fishes great without the worries a stump filled lake provides.
