Thanks for sharing Rex! Looking forward to this event. Several Red River members are weekly regulars fishing on the Red River below the Texoma dam with lots of success. They will be there tying, sharing their favorite flies and knowledge on fishing the river.

I am pretty simple in the mind department. I assume the dates are Jan 27 and Jan 28? And the times are?

The Rendezvous will run from 12:00 Noon on Friday January 27 till 8:00 PM on Saturday January 28.
Here are the times. The doors open at noon on Friday and we have to return the key Saturday night. Generally, this type of event attracts a decent size group on Friday evening especially around supper time with a few people tying late into the night. Friday in often an excellent time for tying and learning new stuff with the smaller group. The largest crowd usually shows up on Saturday morning. Of course with that said, every year is different.

Is it at the same building a event a couple of years ago was? Does it cost to get into the park this time?

Yes, it is the same building, the Rec Hall.
I don't know about the park entrance fee. There's a new park superintendent and I haven't heard if a park fee will be required or not.

The park will charge the $5 entrance fee unless you have a park pass. The event itself is $5, this helps the club cover some of the recreation hall rental and the dinner Friday night. Lot's of great camping sites in the park and screen shelters around the rec hall. Dinner Friday night provided by the Red River Fly Fishers will be chili dogs and chips. Saturday will be pot luck so bring your favorite breakfast, lunch, dinner dish, or desert. Always lots of food!
