X2 for whisker seeker grips. I've broke many many plastic grips from most companies and sprained my wrist a few times and don't have to worry about that with these. They rotate 360 degrees. They are built like a tank. So far they are awesome and we'll worth the money.

The big argument for using them is protection against flesh eating bacteria through bites and punctures. The odds are low but I do have a buddy who got finned by a fish on the coast, picked up the bacteria and it cost him two fingers. I think $20 for a pair is a sound investment.

I have two pair and they have never failed me, unlike three of the plastic ones.

I have callouses on my knuckles lol
I have a pair of the green BassPro but the little keeper slid halfway out on a 25 pound fish so I am leary of gadgets.
