What do you guys use when throwing lipless baits / less then a half ounce crank baits? Looking for rod and reel setup. Most everything I have is for larger baits and don't work so well.

I would use the same setup I use for squarebills. If there is grass or heavier cover I would just increase my line size. My setup is a Quantum Exo 100 and Powell composite. Its a m/mod-fast rod.

I prefer to use a 6'8"-7'0", medium, fast, rod with either a Shimano Aldebaran 50 or Curado 70. Those reels are fantastic for throwing light lures. I prefer to stick with 10-14lb line with 10 or 12 being my most used. Sometimes I do go down to 8lb.
