Well one of the most hardcore Bass Angler's I have ever met is moving to California for a Job. Ron a member here since 7/2003 with 5500 + post and super good stick will be moving in the next day or so. He told me what city it was and then I said heck that the city TackleWarehouse is which I could not believe he did not know that. Fished probably 20 times or more with BigLeslie (Ron) his username he told me came from the name of his Rock Band in HS. His Mom lives here and he will be visiting and will have a openseat with me when he comes down. Gonna miss this guy. Ron a fisherman that could be found on Lake Welsh after dark in Jan/Feb and is a firm believer as am I "That in Order to Catch Big Fish Sometimes you Gotta Suffer" hehe. Lets give BigLeslie a TFF send off and tell him see ya soon!

Ron is a fine gentleman and a heck-uva stick. He loves the night fishing when it's blustery cold, too. Best wishes in your new endeavor.

All the best to you in California!

One of the ol timers in this joint. Fished with him a twice as I recall. I think once was at Ray Roberts in his boat. I remember he got soaked down to his wallet.

My sister and brother inlaw just moved back from cali. They both were making substantially more out there but the cost of living is out of control. They couldn't wait to get back and after some calculations they are putting far more in their pocket making less out here.

I lived in SLO for almost 4 years and had the pleasure of working at TackleWarehouse for the better part of those years. He is going to love it out there! The lakes have been suffering due to no rain but I heard Santa Margarita got 8 inches and there is still more rain coming.
