Falcon Bucoo For the rod, A Bucoo will fit you nicely. They're only $99 but they fish like a $150+ rod. They're incredibly light and balanced. And you need that when fishing a jig all day. I have zero complaints about the Bucoo. Lew's Speed Spool LFS For the reel, I'd go with the Speed Spool LFS by Lew's. These reels are fantastic for their price! I have several and have put them through a lot of abuse. They've stood strong through lots of cover and big fish. Give 'em a shot.

Take a look at the Megabass Levante Perfect Pitch rod. Its a lot of rod for the money. Incredible jig rod and has a lot of other uses too. One of the most versatile in the lineup. You get the Megabass quality rolled into a lower price.

My pref. would be at least 7' broomstick with a 7.1 reel, so with that in mind and 200 budget, this is what I'd do Falcon BuCoo BRC-7-173, or a BRC-6-174, with a Orra SX 7.1. You could use this also on frogs and spoons Hope this helps

7.0H Daiwa Airx....Just to test it out I boat flipped a 5#er at Arlington. It performs flawlessly. Built like a mid level rod without the high price tag. Next would be the all new Daiwa Fuego 7.3H full cork grip...this rod was just released 2 weeks ago and has some pull to it. We will have one available to demo at fun n sun. At the end of the day get what you think will give you 100% confidence.

IMO the type of equipment you need depends on the type of jig fishing you are going to do. I have the Perfect Pitch Rod that Mark is referring to and it is a great rod, but its more of a flipping jig rod. I have a power tackle and Loomis NRX that I use mostly for deep water applications (Football Jig) and they perform better than the perfect pitch.
