We are considering but making sure with the weather, roads and temps this is going to happen? Is anyone planning on fishing?

I heard a rumor it may get postponed unfortunately. I have ice on the road in front of my house here in Prosper. Weather just won't cut us a break.

I think that would be the best choice.

Was gonna fish this too. Snowing hard right now and my storage where my boat stays is up a hill and has ice on it. I agree it would be the best choice. Heck its gonna be warm again next week though. Dang Texas weather

So I guess it wasn't "rain or shine,no matter how cold".....lol

It's the right decision though, not worth the chance of an accident happening.

It kills me to have to cancel this event once again, but safety is always my top priority! I had every intention of hosting this event (rain or shine), but cannot continue to hold an event when a weather advisory has been issued! Our insurance will not cover liability if in the event a weather advisory has been issued within 24-hours of a scheduled event. Had the forecast called for rain or simply cold the event would have continued!

I know Darryl and his family could certainly use the support right now, but this is absolutely the right call. As they say, third times a charm. Thanks to everyone for your patience.
