I have a 22 foot Pontoon that I want a new trolling motor for. I fish for bass, crappie, sunfish, and on rare occasion catfish. Boat is set up for 24 volt troller.
I am running Humminbird electronics.
What features and/or brands would you recommend.

What do you want? A cable steer foot control trolling motor or an electric steer with spotlock feature? Are your humminbirds linked or atleast ethernet capable? If they aren't then brand really makes no difference. If they are and you want a remote steer, then I'd go with Minn Kota Ulterra or Terrova just so it could be linked to FF.

Pontoon boats are challenging to fit a trolling motor to. Those made for pontoons slide vertically up and down the mounting bracket. A lot of times, the fencing gets in the way of stowing and deploying a bowmount. You will need to address the fence/gate issue first. If you're willing to have one that lays down on the deck when stowed, then a bowmount will work and you just need to figure if you want an electric steer or a footpedal. John
