Definitely give us your thoughts on it. I'm wanting to know what the difference in feel of the cable/electric vs. just electric is. Stow and deploy should be a breeze on that thing too.

I'm guessing that I am the only one that has the i pilot link system? The remote is totally different on this model. This is what the remote looks like....

Give David a chance to give you a qoute @ shut up and fish. He will give you a fair price. Not sure if he has any more in stock though.

What an awesome piece of equipment! Spent about 5 hrs on lake today and was so pleased with my purchase. 15-23 MPH winds today and the spot lock held within a couple of feet every time. The cable steer is so easy, precise and smooth. They have made the variable speed motor even better. They put a little longer lag on the very first second you put your foot on switch to go and made it very smooth. There is absolutely no herky jerky and motor jumping around. I was amazed at how smooth it was when it changed direction, no matter how fast the motor was going. Very solid and smooth. Remote worked flawless and I am still getting used to all the features of the i pilot link system. A question was asked earlier about whether you could lift motor with the cable to go over stumps and such. I'm not sure if I was in electronic steer mode or cable steer, but I could lift motor until it was on top of water and it still ran. I for one like that. One other little thing I liked is that if you turned motor left before you stowed it, it would stay in place without having to keep foot on pedal. Just one more thing that makes stowing simple and saving time. They put a LOT of thought into this new T/M and I think it is the best thing out there. Yes, I think the M/G Xi5 is very good and I have fished with my buddy that has one many times, but the new Ultrex is superior in many ways. I can't wait to get out tomorrow and try it again now that I have had a chance to get familiar with. This new T/M is a guides dream and should mean more fish in less time. I've never been so excited about fishing now that I have my new Ultrex. Better save your money and get one, or be left behind..... it's that good!!
