Anybody check denton creek since the rain? I went in late January and it was low and depressing. Haven't been by since the rains. Lake is up close to 2'.

I haven't been there but it looks like it is at the same level as it was 1 year ago, which was too low. I think the magic number is 8 feet below conservation pool. Around there, the creek should be well connected to the lake. Just a little more....

Fish eat things. I'll put things in the water that fish like to eat. I'll attach these things to a hook, line, rod, and reel. How hard can this be?

I did. Fished all the way to that concrete wall and I figured they couldn't run up past that and thought it would be a good spot. Only caught one.

I've driven over it since the rain. It's very high, very wide, and flowing very fast.

Seeing a whole lotta trucks parked alongside Denton Creek at I-35, so it must be on.

All parks are closed for the foreseeable future. Likely all year.

Should still be able to park off 377 at the bridges though right? I'm off today and thought about heading over there and checking out the catfish action. Any updates?

Anyone have any info on Denton Creek near the mouth of lake grapevine? Looking to put my kayak in and find some crappie when we get a warm day.

Curious as well. I want to get my crew together to go up there soon. Have the whites started moving up-creek yet to spawn?
