Toad! Hopefully its not too much of a letdown when they don't catch the huge weights everyone is expecting. They will be about a month too late, especially if this overall mild winter continues.

Toad! Hopefully its not too much of a letdown when they don't catch the huge weights everyone is expecting. They will be about a month too late, especially if this overall mild winter continues. Late March still equals big fish time. Lake had tough fall fishing but it's been better the last month. Biggest issue will be the pressure on the lake. It's going to fish small. Probably take 70+ pounds for three days to win.

Isn't the big bass tournament the weekend before? Oakley is the 4th and 5th. Classic is 24th thru 26th.

Largest Classic total weight was KVD in 2011 at 69-11. Conroe is the type of lake that if things set up right it could beat that. Is also could be won with 45 pounds if the conditions aren't right.
Lots of 6#+ fish in the lake
