 Braid on a Lews

Never really liked braid but started using it about a year ago for froggin and flippin. Question is I have 3 lews reels and was gonna use one for flippin and one for spooks around trees and such. The spools seem smaller than most of my other reels. How do yall like the braid on lews?

The levelwind doesn't swing far enough side to side on my Lews reels to evenly lay braid on any of my Lews reels. For that reason, I use a TWS Zillion for braid. My Lews reels are fine with Flourocarbon line...I guess it "hops" to the far sides when winding on the spool and doesn't cause an issue.

I've never had any issues and I use a lot of braid on different Lews reels

+1 on the BB1 Pro - great reels wit braid. Also done well with the Tournament Pros and Super Dutys too

have 2 lews reels booth with spiderwire braided line, no problems at all.

22 reels all Lews and no problem with them on any line.
