Lake Houston was at pool, water temps were 69 deg in the crks, 64 mainlake. Caught some nice fish on ratltraps in luciuos bayou. The shad were all over the sand bars. bass were right on the edges. Everyone was catching them, saw lots of nice fish today. Guess it was the heavy feed before the front?

They were biting in the East Fork yesterday as well. Were still biting today after the rain moved out. Bright Sun slowed them some though compared to yesterday's feast.

Thanks for the report. Are you referring to white bass or largemouth bass. Any prediction as to when the whites might move farther upstream into feeder creeks?

We were catching black bass. I haven't seen a good white bass run in years, in the rivers! Flooding hasn't helped! Id never eat anything outta that lake anyway. Just way to many turd plants dumping into it. Its still a fun lake to fish though.
