Anybody else experienced issues with St Croix rods? I have 4 rods all about 2-3 years old - tournament bass,2 mojo and 1 spinner premier that hav lost guide inserts, just plain snapped or tip top just broke off... getting real tired of this...

I have 3 Mojo Bass and one Legend Tournament Series rods where this happened. If it happens once, ok. But four times in the last couple of years? No problems with any of my other rods during this time. I'm probably moving on to another line of rods.

No. I have about 14 St Croix LTB rods, never had a problem with any of them. Several are over 10 years old. You may be reeling your bait in till it hits the tip guide or mishandling them in and out of your rod locker. Just a guess.

Mojos were not high end rods, the type of guides they used had this issue. As many others do.
