 Some updates after members advice

So after reading everyones advice, i decided to try some ideas. Went to Calaveras again, went to the fishing d Pier, and more hits on specific baits then before. I used primarily Pro Cured chicken livers. Was also trying to catch bait fish, and was successful. Yesterday i went to palemtto state park, and all i got was this monster while fishing for cats??? 
There i was, up to my knees in hand grenade pins and titties. Was i scared? Yah, scared they get away!

I dont understand why the link or pictures dont work. It was a small Bass
